Meet Ruben Mariscal

I’m Ruben Mariscal, owner of SoCal Home Inspects and a Certified Master Inspector.

I have completed more than 5,000 home inspections throughout Southern California and have helped thousands of buyers, sellers, and homeowners better understand the condition of their properties before making important decisions.

I founded SoCal Home Inspects with a one goal: provide thorough inspections, clear reporting, and honest information so clients can make informed decisions with confidence.

My Inspection Philosophy

Every property tells a story.

I combine years of inspection experience with advanced tools such as thermal imaging cameras, moisture meters, sewer cameras, drones, and gas leak detection equipment to identify conditions that may not be readily visible during a standard walk-through.

My job is not to sell a house or kill a deal. My job is to provide accurate information about the property’s condition so you can move forward with confidence and realistic expectations.
